1, improper selection

 

The rubber seal does not match the specifications and models of the sealing parts, or there are quality defects in the selected products, or the performance of the rubber seal ring does not meet the requirements.

 

2. Low assembly quality

 

Improper installation of seals is the main cause of seal damage, such as the seal is scratched and cut during assembly.

 

3. Improper selection of hydraulic oil

 

Hydraulic oil is incompatible with rubber seals, resulting in seal deterioration, expansion, accelerated aging, etc., increasing the damage rate of seals.

 

4. The oil is too dirty

 

In the working process of the hydraulic system, it is inevitable to produce metal chips or mixed with other hard particles into the hydraulic oil, which will increase the wear of the rubber seal and reduce its working life.

 

5. Improper storage of rubber seals

Second, the solution to the damage of rubber seals in the hydraulic system

 

1. Select rubber seals that meet the requirements

 

When selecting seals, consider seal specifications, oil resistance, wear resistance, elasticity, strength, pressure resistance, working temperature, compatibility with hydraulic oil, etc., to ensure that the selected rubber seals meet the sealing requirements of the hydraulic system.

 

2. Assemble rubber seals in strict accordance with the requirements

 

Before assembly, carefully check whether the seal is expired, aging, deformation, etc., and wipe the surface of the seal with a cloth that does not drop hair, and the assembly part should be clean without debris pollution. During the installation process, the seal should be avoided from being damaged, and grease or guide devices can be applied in the relevant parts to prevent the edges of the relevant components from damaging the rubber seals; When the seal passes through the thread, the tape can be used to protect it, and the tape can be removed after the seal passes. For the sealing ring with direction requirements, ensure that the installation direction is correct, so as not to lose the sealing effect; Avoid squeezing the seal out of the correct position or cutting when the assembly parts are combined.

 

3, regular maintenance of the oil filter system

 

The function of the oil filter system is to filter impurities in the hydraulic oil. The degree of pollution of new oil without filtration, purification and precipitation often exceeds the requirements, mainly mixed or formed in the process of refining, packaging, transportation and storage, and the particles in the long-term storage of new oil tend to gather into clusters. Therefore, when filling new hydraulic oil, it is necessary to filter first and then fill the hydraulic system. Because some metal chips, or external pollutant particles, etc. will continue to enter the system during the operation of the hydraulic system, it is necessary to wash or replace the oil filter element regularly to ensure that the oil filter is in normal working condition and ensure the cleaning of the hydraulic oil.

 

4. Properly keep rubber seals

 

Rubber seals should be stored in accordance with the storage requirements of rubber products.

 

When storing, the temperature in the warehouse is required to be kept between -15 ° C and 35 ° C, the relative humidity is kept between 50% and 80%, direct sunlight should be avoided, and contact with acids, alkalis, oils, organic solvents and other substances that affect the quality of rubber should be prohibited, and away from heat sources. It is forbidden to stack and hang the rubber sealing ring without packaging to avoid stress and deformation. For rubber seals with too long storage period, they should be scrapped in time to avoid unqualified seals being continued to be used.
